The Freshmen Blue Team opened its season with an impressive win over Swartz Creek, 24-6. Ben Thornton opened the scoring on the first play of the game, taking a pitch from quarterback Peyton Knoll and going 50 yards around the right end. Thornton kicked the extra point to make the score 8-0 just seconds into the game.

Andrew Jackson, Dakota Holzwarth, Kaelin Harbin, Brendan Whitney and Thomas Talbot had some beautiful blocks in helping Gunner Lamb score the Blue Devils second touchdown of the 1st quarter from two yards out.

Thornton again kicked the extra point to make the score 16-0.

The Blue Devils scored their third touchdown of the 1st half when Thornton found a beautiful hole up the middle and went 40 yards for the score. He once again added the extra point to make the score 24-0.

Ryan Franks, Jack Wolgast, Jared Smith, Ryan Hugan, Baylee Wheeler, Jake Hawes, Rob Bentley, Liam King, Davison Emery all played well in their 1st games as a Lake Fenton Blue Devil.

Nik Brost, Mitchell Bollinger and Bryce Davis helped spearhead a strong defensive effort.

A special thanks goes out to the Freshmen Blue Cheerleaders who cheered loud and strong all morning! Keep up the good work girls!

The Freshmen White team fell to a very talented, competitive Flushing team 19-0.  After a giving up 19 points, team responded well to an inspirational halftime talk and the Blue Devils held the Raiders scoreless the entire second half. 

Lead by the hard running of Cory Pierce, the Lake Fenton Varsity Blue team beat Birch Run 16-0. The Blue Devil offensive line dominated the Panther defense and paved the way for touchdown runs by Pierce and Rance Henessey. Logan Herm completed 2 extra point conversion passes to Tight End Nate Franks. The Blue Devil's lead by Alex Okopian, Bryce Frownfelter and Jeff Heller also controlled the defensive side of the ball all day long.
