The Lake Fenton JV Blue defense dominated another close game winning 6-0 against Bendle 2. The team remains undefeated at 3-0 in the tough MMRFL JV A division. Defense has been the hallmark for the team this year; they have allowed only eight points in three games while scoring 34. The defense was lead by Matt Engleberts, Edward Walterhouse, Griffin Wakeman, Brian Goss, and Noah Tolbert. A 33 yard run by Trent Grimes set up the games only score on a one yard blast by Walterhouse. Logan Herm
went 3 for 4 with 55 yards passing. The excellent line play of Mark Kotula,
Tyler Donnelly, Luke Idoni, Tyler Frey, Daniel Dale, and Ben Mikolajczk allowed
the Devils to control the game. Lake
Fenton Youth Varsity
fell to Vassar 14-0. The game was a defensive struggle, with Vassar only
able to score on two broken plays. |
