The Freshmen Blue Team played a tough Bendle Tiger team on Saturday and dropped a tough game by the score of 24 to 13.  Bendle scored on their opening possesion and then recovered a mishandled kickoff.  The Tigers went on to score on two interceptions in the first half and the Blue Devils were down 18 to 0 at halftime.

Merrick George provided some early second half excitement as he took the kick-off all the way for a 65 yard score.  Neil Allor scored the second touchdown of the half on a 50 yard pitch around right end.  George passed to Allor for the conversion.

Robert Alexander, Josh Kesler, Brendon Davis, Raied Jawhari, Peyton Knoll, Spencer Foerster, Zach Webb and Mitchel Bollinger all played solid games.

Lake Fenton Freshmen White hosted Millington Saturday night under lights. Quarterback Justin Rabidoux put the Blue Devil's on the board with 20 yd scamper around the end Carson Whaley tacking on the extra point to end an impressive 1st Qtr drive. Millington pulled ahead late in the 2nd qtr with a TD and 2 point conversion.  Midway through the 3 rd qtr the Blue Devils marched down field with Mac Hamilton, Ben Thornton and Carson Whaley in the backfield behind the strong offensive line of Paul Idoni, Nick Stewart, Gunner Lamb, Tanner North, Kenny Whitaker, Jacob Knight, Mitchel Dershem and Dave Ragatz. The drive ended with Shabo Gorial rushing for his first TD of the season, Ben Thorton attempted to kick the 2 pt conversion missing just right and hitting the upright.
 
The Blue Devils defense of Nikolas Brost, Austin Weston, Tyler Carlton, Trevor Morris, Andrew Jackson,  Ryan Kotula, Anthony Hill, Dallas Kitchen and Kaelan Harbin, stole the show by stopping Millington's 4th and goal drive on the 3 yard line forcing a turn over on downs with 4 seconds in the game. Final Score Lake Fenton beating Millington 13-8.

In a defensive battle, JV Blue's Logan Herm connected with Trent Grimes for a 45 yd TD pass late in the third quarter and the JV Blue team went on to beat Millington2 6-0 and improve their record to 2-0. Defensively the Blue Devils were led by Griffen Wakeman, Edward Walterhouse, Mark Kotula, Aaron Cook and Robert Sparks. The offensive lineman made up of Kiel Cole, Justin Short, Luke Idoni, Tyler Frey and Ben Mikolajczk did a good job blocking and opening holes for Walterhouse who had 50 yds rushing on 10 carries. Herm had a successful day passing as he hit 4 out of 5 passes for 105 yards and a TD.
